This joint project between UC Berkeley and the Dubai Electric and Water Authority (DEWA) started with a successful corporate custom program, held at UC Berkeley Extension. This program led to a longer term collaboration between the UC Berkeley College of Engineering, UC Berkeley Extension and DEWA, and in 2019 saw the first cohort of DEWA staff accepted into the the Future Masters of Energy Systems and Technology. Nav-B led the contract negotiations and project managed the program proposal, and worked closely with CoE faculty and administrators in creating a world class curriculum for DEWA. Currently Nav-B facilitates the administration of the program, and leads communications between the various stakeholders.
