New Academic Ventures, Berkeley, was founded in 2017 to serve UC Berkeley’s many units, divisions and departments in the development of revenue-generating programs and projects. NAV-B reports directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, and we work across the university as well as with external partners and stakeholders to support projects that vary in scale and scope.

We are experts in the areas of opportunity recognition, business development, contract negotiation and management, market research and data analysis, and project management, and leverage our experience to assist UCB departments to achieve their goals.
